Trade shows are an incredibly effective way for upstart companies to
showcase their goods and services, and portable exhibits can help set
you apart from the pack. If you're just getting started in trade shows
there are some important things you should know. Every show is
different, so if you'll be attending more than one make sure to do your
homework. Know exactly how much space you'll be getting and design your
display accordingly.
Trade shows will vary from place to place. Some will encourage you to
set up trade show booths and others simply don't have the space. I
recommend having two or three alternate set-ups ready to go so that
you're never caught off guard. Portable exhibits give you the
flexibility you need.
A good portable display will come in a case that also doubles as a
podium or table. On this table you can present promotional materials,
giveaways and anything you can think of to keep your company in peoples
minds. You don't have to spend a fortune in order to do this. Some good
examples of cheap and effective giveaways include, pens, pencils,
magnets, business cards and brochures.
Popup trade show displays and portable exhibits are becoming the norm at
trade shows.
You simply can't compete without something attractive and eye-catching
to introduce
you to the public. Be sure that you have your company logo strongly
represented in your design. In doing this, I suggest that you follow the
rule of "less is more," and always try to be subtle rather than
overbearing.
